Okay, so I admit, ever since I started getting more tech saavy (and yes, I say more because I am still a LONG ways from actually being saavy) I find more and more ways to waste my time online. But as one very wise person said "Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time." But I have found a new site to waste more time on. It's a fun little site where you can make your own city. However, the only way your city grows is by having people come and visit- aka go to the link. So here's my link, come visit my city. And who knows, maybe you'll decide you want to put yourself on the map so to speak! So come check it out!

It's a magical little berg where dreams come true and people are always caught up on their scrapbooking!
Okay, so, I've wasted my allotted time for the day. Gotta go to bed, enjoy!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!
Well, it's official! I am now in the Christmas Spirit! I finished up most of my Christmas shopping today and I got my Christmas tree up!!! :D :D :D I've been playing Christmas music all day and it feels great! And as part of the Christmas excitement, I'm having a holiday bizzare at my house next Friday, Dec. 7th. You are all invited! I'm selling some Christmas cards I've made, gift wrappings, baked goods, decorations, and much more. My friend Chris is also selling some of the fabulous jewelery she makes. So come on over and check it out. The fun starts at 4 pm. If you need directions just shoot me an email! :D

Snowmen Nativity Wallhanging
(Okay, so this is really one piece, but I could only fit two sections on my scanner at one time. So when this is hanging it's made with 4 coasters that are all tied together.)
I just LOVE the Snowmen Nativity stamp set. I kept seeing it in the catalog and thought, "Sure, it's cute- but what would I DO with it?" Then when I was at the Mile High Angels Gathering one of the Prop Swap gifts was a wall hanging very similar to this. I just flipped over how CUTE it was!! So I came home, bought the set, and scraplifted the idea. I really love this set!!!
I used Burnt Umber to ink all the edges and stamped the images in Noir. I colored in the images with the Pearlescent Chalking Set and the Gray Marker. I have to admit, that Gray Marker is pretty addictive.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
Christmas Cards Continued
Christmas Cards!
Sentiment reads: "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger"
I made this card at a FUNshop I held at my Mom's house. It uses the Snowmen Nativity set stamps. I decorated the star using some Stickles and I colored the image using the Tombow Markers and blending pen. I used the Gray Marker for the shading and I think I've found my next favorite marker!
Products Used:
Snowmen Nativity Stamp Set
Stickles- Icicle
Tombow Markers- Blue, Yellow, Black, Gray, and Blending Pen
